This rare and beautiful foxglove comes from the Spanish mountains. Very nice in the garden. The flowers come late in the fall and have the colors of a gorgeous sunset. They are sometimes called rust tones.
Digitalis forms a leaf rosette in the first year of sowing and will bloom the 2nd year. She will become about 45-60 cm. high. The plant is slightly more drought tolerant than the other digitalis.
Hardy to at least -10 degrees Celsius. Not tested further.
If you remove the flower after flowering, they usually usually bloom again the same year.
